fosh&fish is a free hobby game by afosh. It has no ads, no tracking and nothing to buy. This page explains the little it stores.
Playing without an account
Your progress is saved on your own device only. Nothing about you is sent anywhere.
If you make an account
- Your email address: to sign in and to send you a code if you forget your password.
- Your fisher name: shown on the public leaderboard.
- Your game save (level, fish, boats and so on): so you can play on several devices. Your level, prestige and total money earned appear on the leaderboard next to your fisher name.
- Your password is never stored by the game. The sign-in service keeps only a secure hash of it.
Accounts and saves are kept with Supabase (servers in the EU). Other players can only ever see your fisher name and your leaderboard numbers.
Deleting your data
In the game, open Menu → Account → Delete account. That removes your login, your fisher name and your cloud save right away. To clear what's on your device, use Settings → Reset save or uninstall the game.
Updates
The game checks for new versions by downloading a small file from this website and GitHub. No personal data is sent with that check.
